Where did it all begin?
It all began in the 6th Grade! Believe it or not, 6th grade was where the seed was planted and the passion for Carolina Entertainment was put in place.
In 6th Grade, owner of Carolina Entertainment, Kyle Gore joined the middle school band as a percussionist. After one year of learning to read music he was asked to join the High School Marching Band which made him the youngest musician in the state to ever march. From 6th Grade to his Senior year he received Most Outstanding Percussionist every year while making the cut for Region Band and State Band. His Senior year he received the John Phillip Sousa award for most outstanding musician only given to one senior.
On top of his high school musical career, Kyle worked part time jobs non-stop. Most of the time it was in the restaurant industry. His parents instilled a work ethic in him that he has never forgotten. His philosophy is "you earn what you work for". Till this day, Kyle has had a consecutive job since he was 12 years old.
When Kyle found free time after band and work, he had a passion for all music, especially for what was current at the time. He was always the one making the mix tapes for the parties and was always the one that had the great tunes when his friends rode around with him. He just liked to see the expressions on his friends faces when a certain song came on. He was the life of the party and enjoyed watching everyone have a good time.
After high school, Kyle attended the University of South Carolina where he majored in Music and Sociology while playing percussion in the Carolina Band. It wasn't until the summer of his senior year in college where he had his first opportunity to professionally DJ. Kyle was working in a restaurant when the manager was looking for a way to keep the late night crowd around. When the crowd stayed, that meant more revenue for the restaurant. The idea was simple. It was natural. Kyle would play music and entertain the late night crowd. The restaurant provided the small PA that would be embarrassing to use today. Kyle took his resources and he delivered in a big way. Over time, the crowd got bigger and bigger. It was at this time where Kyle realized he was designed to do this and also the time when Carolina Entertainment was born. It wasn't long before he was approached to DJ his first wedding. It was a huge success! Twelve years later, and over 1,000 weddings and events produced, Carolina Entertainment remains the leader in the industry.

This may sound crazy, but Kyle does not hire DJ's. He hires staff with the same work ethic as himself and then he personally trains each one of them to his standards.
